I'm Courtney. I enjoy sunshine - but also rain, the color blue, God, food, fish (that's why there are some swimming around at the bottom of the page.. bet you didn't even notice), and being happy. :) My middle name is Parke.. hence the title of my blog.
That's me. I always look 12, it's a problem I'll have to overcome in life. I'd like to see to see what age readers think I am? Hm, maybe I'll play a little game with this..

Well. As you can see, I ramble.. a lot. I like talking. It makes me feel like my opinions matter, even when I know they don't. Lots of my posts will be enraged rants about political injustices or worldly matters that upset me, because I'm very passionate about them.
I've had it harder than most. I'm not going to go all boo-hoo on you, because I don't need to, but anything you've gone through - chances are I've been there, done that. So I'm a good person to talk to.
I like editting pictures because it makes me feel like a photographer. I did this in my free time, and thought it was neat-o for about 2 days before I grew bored. It still makes me smile to look at, though, so I'll put it here.
I'm real. No, I'm not conceited or a bitch. I'm just real. Things you read here won't be sugar coated, won't be embellished. They'll reflect me. :)
I live in a small, conversative town in Ohio. Because of that last little paragraph above, I don't enjoy it here much. Have I mentioned I'm a liberal democrat? That's probably something you should know.
